Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After the installation of Windows 10, everything works fine until this particular update of Synaptics touchpad driver. As soon as the driver is updated and I restart the laptop the touchpad becomes dead. And it won't work until I downgrade that particular driver. After the downgrade, the touchpad starts working but there's this new issue where the keys particularly c,d,e, and 3 are hard to press. To make these keys work I have to tap at least 10 to 15 times forcibly. Then they'll work for at most 1 to 2 minutes and then again these 4 keys become hard to press. Now the major issue is if again I upgrade the touchpad driver the keyboard issue resolves but the touchpad stops working.

Please help. I have tried almost everything from the forum.

HP notebook 15 BS145-TU

I have had only one hardware upgrade till now and that is I have removed my hard disk and instead I added an m.2 SSD and this hardware upgrade was done at the hp service center.

Thanks for your response. The problem has seemed to be solved for now using the steps you mentioned. I can notice that my touchpad and the keyboard now work simultaneously without any flaw.
