ProBook 640 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello there
i am using an hp probook 640 g4,
recently i upgraded it to windows 10 21h2 from windows 10 21h1
after the upgrade my touchpad gestures have stopped working i.e. three finger, 2 finger gestures.
I have also noticed that after the update a device named I2C HID is showing some failure.

I have a few recommendations for you.

 

1) install the serial IO driver and then restart the notebook.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp96501-97000/sp96954.exe

 

2) If the error is still present, run the HP Hardware Diagnostic UEFI utility system test and write down any 24 character error code and post it here.
