Bought a new laptop, and i`m having issues with the touchpad gestures, the mouse is working just fine, but no gestures, like double finger to scroll page. the virtual touchpad on the taskbar works just fine (i can zoom, double tap, etc) because of the touchscreen.
I have tried hardware troubleshooting, I`ve installed drivers from microsoft for synaptics touchpad, i`ve uninstalled the driver on device manager (although after restarting the computer it showed up normally, as if i wasn`t able to uninstall it.)
I have tried so many thigs I don`t know what else to do.
I want to know, if the touchpad function for mouse is working, than it can`t be a problem with the physical part itself right?
Anything else i can try?

What is the installed operating system?
You will need to enable touch gestures.
Start-->Settings-->Touchpad, then click on Scroll & Zoom. click on the drag two fingers to scroll box.
You can click on the advanced gesture section, then in the three and four finger gesture sections to configure them and see what each type of gesture should do.
If none of that works you should install the Synaptic driver that matches the version of Windows 10 that you have installed.
Here is a link to the Driver download portal for your laptop. (see the Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices section)

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, my computer bios was already up to date, so no update was available, also, the settings on the touchpad are all perfect. Like i said, because i have a touchscreen i can use the virtual touchpad and the gestures do work. They do not work when i use the pad on the computer.
The issue, remains, i have everything updated, i've deleted the synaptics from the devicer manager, restarted the computer and it installed by itself, i have downloaded updated drivers for the touchpad... so far, nothing...

Thanks for the reply,
I had tried already, but did it again, to download the correct driver.
The gestures on the touchpad page are perfect, it shows what i can do when i double tap, when i move with 3 fingers an all...
When open the virtual touchpad on my screen (which is a touchscreen) i can use the gestures touching the screen. Just not on the physical pad on the laptop.
So far, the issue remains...
