Touchpad Peeling

I've had my laptop for a while and the touchpad has started peeling in the places I use the most like the side for scrolling. Can I replace the plastic on it that is peeling or do I have to replace the whole touchpad?

The plastic cannot be replaced. As this is cosmetic damage on the PC, please contact our HP Support team for Service Options:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Note: You may also use HP Parts Store to replace the touchpad.
