I have come back to my laptop overnight after using it perfectly fine prior adn my touchpad is unresponsive. Wont enlarge/shrink screen, cant see cursor. Ive plugged in a usb mouse and it works, but if i try to use the touchpad nothign happens. ANy help with this? I have not split dropped damaged laptop, literally been on my desk.

Please, sometimes it's just a driver issue.
What model is your HP laptop? Also, what operating system are you using?
This way I can see both.

My HP Omen Laptop has been problematic on multiple fronts with the most dysfunctional aspect being an unserviceable touchpad. I opened a case for my laptop about a month before my warranty expired. After trying multiple courses of action and doing a full HP-approved reset, the problems remain. Unfortunately, they closed my case without me affirming my issues resolved, and now I am unable to get support. I have exhausted all the methods, and if a full reset didn't fix it, I don't know what would. What can be done to provide support for this product I am stuck with?
