Hello @jasonklamm
keep me updated ...
There may be a technical (and driver-dependent) reason why the touchpad no longer works under Windows 11. However, only an HP technician can determine this. In most cases, HP recommends reinstallation first. In your case, they would definitely suggest HP Cloud Recovery Windows 10 (original delivery).
Kind regards

Ok thank you.
My only concern is that on the Cloud Recovery page you linked to it says:
"The HP Cloud Recovery Tool might only have a Windows 11 image option available for these models."
If that's the case, how do I go back to Windows 10? Do I try the Microsoft method?

Hello @jasonklamm
..."might" ... ( there are different models )
Try first before you step down to Microsoft method, all right ?
Kind regards

I had to use another computer and download Windows 10 from Microsoft after that debacle.
After all this, I have lost space because the HP install ate up its own segment of the hard drive that I can't get back, and my mouse still doesn't work. I opened the exe you recommended and nothing happened.
I will take any working solution at this point.

UPDATE: Yes, my computer is BRICKED! PLEASE GIVE ME A SOLUTION!!
Hello @jasonklamm
- Please use <USB flash drive> Type 2.0 and 3.0
- Test both with Cloud Recovery again ...
Kind regards
