Touchpad bulging

Touchpad is bulging out, can this be fixed by HP? I don’t think I’m in warranty anymore. Help!!!!

It's the battery swelling. You have to replace the battery immediately. Give us the exact model number or product ID and we can find you a replacement battery and instructions in Manual and/or video form.

Laptop seems pretty new to be out of warranty. When did you buy it? 

Here is the battery:

HP does not have it in stock but you can buy a new battery here:

I am also going to try to escalate your issue to an HP employee to see if maybe some help is available but the instructions above would allow you or a techie person you may know to do the replacement.

Thank you, it was purchased I wanna say late 2017. I’ve had it for a couple of years. I’m so sad this is my favorite computer I don’t wanna get rid of it!

You do not need to do that. You would not get rid of your favorite car just because it needed new brakes, right?
