Hi,
I changed the default OS (WIN 11) with WIN 10 PRO but the touchpad didn't work. Do you know where i can download the right driver for my OMEN?
In the device list i haven't a missing driver for any device also in HID it appears only the mouse.
Thanks in advance for your help.

@Malox84, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Your HP OMEN 16.1-inch gaming laptop touchpad issue likely stems from driver incompatibility with Windows 10, as HP primarily supports Windows 11 for this model.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Update Touchpad Driver via Device Manager
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
- If a touchpad device is listed, right-click on it and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If Windows doesn't find a newer driver, proceed to the next step.
Install Windows 11 Touchpad Driver in Compatibility Mode
- Visit the HP support page for your laptop model.
- Download the touchpad driver available for Windows 11.
- Right-click on the downloaded driver setup file and select Properties.
- Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
- Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows 10.
- Click Apply, then OK.
- Run the setup file to install the driver.
- Restart your laptop and check if the touchpad functions correctly.
Use Windows Update to Find Compatible Drivers
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click on Check for updates.
- Windows may detect and install a compatible driver for your touchpad.
Consider Reverting to Windows 11:
If the touchpad remains non-functional and no compatible drivers are available for Windows 10, you might need to consider reinstalling Windows 11, as HP provides full driver support for that operating system on your device.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
