15 inch i7 1tb Brand new win 11 laptops reverting back to win 10 for school use on a domain. Never had problem till now reverting to win 10 operating system but can not get touch pad to accept any software. Not showing in device manager at all, tried software from win 11 and 10 no luck. Looked in bios no access to turn on off. Has anyone come across this please. Mouse and all other software working, had to download software for sound drivers tho, all other software copied thru.

I am curious as to why you did not use an image.
By "reverting back to Windows 10" do you mean that you did that from Windows 11?
As far as I am aware, those laptops are delivered from HP with Windows 11.
What do you mean by " Looked in bios no access to turn on off. "?
You will need to go to Intel to download the chipset and graphics drivers for the specific processor for Windows 10.
It would have helped greatly if you had provided a specific laptop product number/SKU instead of the generic model series information.
The Elan Touchpad drivers for Windows 10 are available at the Microsoft Update catalog. (See the hyperlink below)
