I bought the laptop on ebay it came with the OS installed ect and the touchpad was working fine.. but i reset laptop to make it fresh for my self to use, Its working fine but the laptop touchpad not working at all, i tried installing drivers, i downloaded Driver booster and Driver easy and no hope, I manually got them off HP driver site and no hope still, I tried all F keys and The is no double tap button on touchpad, I can not find nothing to fix it. Please help

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchpad is not working on the computer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Have you tested with an external mouse?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you download and install the HP support assistant from the below link and it will automatically download and install all the latest drivers available for your computer.

 

Here is how it is done.

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

    Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. Perform any other update management actions as needed.

    • Postpone an update: Click Remind me, and then select a time preference.

    • Delete an available update: Click the Delete icon  to remove the update from the list and record it in the action log.

    • Review updates status: Click Action log below the list to view installed, postponed, or deleted updates.
