The touchpad has stopped working on my laptop. 

I have tried the common fixes - restarting laptop, updating device, updated the touchpad automatically & manually installed in device manage, configured BIOS settings. These offer a quick fix and the touchpad works again but stops again after 15 minutes or so each time. 

Does anyone have a solution that will fix this long term?
