I have an intermittent problem with the touchpad responses becoming very erratic. It works fine one minute, then will refuse to respond to touches, or randomly act as though I am holding down the left mouse button. Has anyone experienced this?

I see you are experiencing issues with the OMEN Gaming Laptop PC touchpad is not working correctly.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Check with any USB/Wireless Mouse if it works fine.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
- Try updating the touchpad drivers from HP.COM
