Hello,
I did a clean windows 8.1 install on my HP stream x360, (not the HP WIN8.1 recovery mode) downloaded all drivers here from the HP website. Everything worked accept the touchscreen. In system i see "no pen or touch is available for this display". Pen and Touch is missing in control panel., also Tablet PC settings is missing. Is there any touchscreen driver available for the HP Stream x360 ?
Thanks in advance .
Marcel

After installing the drivers http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4158&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=7579... and the touch screen still not working...
Check if touch screen is enabled/disabled:
Device manager > Human Interface devices > Right click "HID compliant touch screen" > Click enable
Make us know if it worked!

Thank you for your answer.
I have install all the drivers in the link you posted but the touchscreen still not working.
In device manager > human Interface devices, HID compliant touch screen is not even listed.
All the hardware is installed when i look in the device manager, there is not a 'Unknown Device". It's look like windows don't recognize the touchscreen.

Found some people got the touch fixed by...
1. Solution 4 on http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/support/hardware-and-drivers/troubleshoot-the-surface-touchsc...
2. or Try checking USB HID related to touch screen... as explained on following sites.

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1657434/windows-update-touch-screen-working.html
Edited:
It could be... there are no touchscreen drivers, because It is built into the recovery image and or Windows, as here says...

So, maybe a solution would be restoring windows as factory settings.

Just for prosperity's sake... As of November 15th 2015:
The key to the touchscreen is the "Intel Serial IO" driver. On a fresh install of Windows 8.1 HP Support will not pick this up as a necessary driver, you have to find it on the support site and it lives under "Display/Video Drivers".
On a fresh install of Windows 10 you will lose the touchscreen because there is no Windows 10 version of the "Intel Serial IO" driver and the 8.1 version from Intel won't install on 10.
In theory, you can upgrade to 10 because Windows 10 will "grandfather" in the 8.1 drivers. However, I've noticed on some machines this causes instability in the long run. Don't know about the stream though, I am waiting till Intel releases the "Serial IO" driver for Windows 10 to upgrade.
Just an FYI in case anyone needs it.

Hi all
I faced the same problem after installing frish version of windows 8.1 on my laptop HP Envy x360. I solved it by downloading the the following drivers from Intel.com
Intel Serial IO
Intel Vertual Buttons
they have the latest versions for windows 8.1
Best Regards
