HP ENVY x360 - 13-y034cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cracked the screen. Because the touch screen went haywire I turned off the touch capability.
Other than this - I love this laptop and want to restore it.

Can someone point me to the replacement [part number and instructions to replace the touchscreen?
Thank you in advance.

Replacing the touchscreen alone is not recommended.

Replacing the display assembly is more practical.

Here is the PartSurfer data for your specific laptop

https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=X7U87UA&searchby=product

The display assembly is  HP 914608-001

Its description is HU, LCD 13.3 QHD+ BV HDCAM TS

Take digital images as you disassemble the laptop so you will know how everything connects together. Use a cup to put all of the small parts so they do not become lost.
