Trackpad stopped working after the windows update

The touchpad worked properly on Windows 11 21H2.

The issue started after a Windows feature update.

Device Manager reports: "This device cannot start (Code 10). A request for the HID descriptor failed."

The issue is intermittent and the touchpad sometimes works.

Driver updates and hardware servicing have already been attempted.

its the firmware issue please fix it

even i contacted microsoft team, they said, "the troubleshooting already completed, the issue appears to be outside the scope of Windows configuration and is more likely related to HP-specific firmware or hardware integration. HP will be best equipped to investigate this further."

I tried all these steps the issue is in windows the touchpad is not recognising at all its not showing touchpad toggle at all in the settings as you mention the above video links. There is no hardware defect, the issue is in the firmware.
