Hi,

I bought a spectre 360 in the UK. So naturally the travel power adapter came with a 3-prong duck head cable with a UK plug. Does anyone know how I can order this cable for other countries too? I would like to use it in Switzerland frequently and hence would like a swiss cable too. Please note I am after the replacement cord that  I can simply plug into the power unit, not the complete setup, nor just a plug that fits onto the power unit as that would make the extension too short.

If you know the part number or can provide a link, I would be very grateful.

We need to know what is your x360. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Well, many people now can travel around the world including me. My daughter travelled around no less than 40 countries from Africa to Russia, China, Japan, UK .... she left NY last week and back home now. She only carried TWO universal adapters.

Anyway, we need to know EXACTLY what is your machine.

Regards.

My suggestion: buy an universal adapter and your can use it nearly everywhere using household AC outlets.

If you really keen to buy a power cord for other country, please go there and buy from there. All good electrical shops will stock those cords with different lenghts.

We call a 3 prong "Mickey Mouse"

UK uses a Type G plug.

Switzerland uses Type J plug.

Sorry but can't find any on Ebay.

Call me vain but Spectre is a stylish laptop so I would like the exact HP part for another country that fits perfectly onto the power supply. It ships with the Swiss version of the laptop so should be available as a part but I can't find it. Also calling it a travel adapter means it should be available with various additional country packs. Sadly the HP helpdesk weren't too helpful in find it.

If you want an HP part then we would need the exact model number or product number of your laptop???

Could you also include the AC adapters part number.

I have tried to do this before with no luck.

Maybe someone else will give it a try.
