I have a HP Pavilion 15 eg2000 laptop. I just opened my camera and encountered with a display stating, "We Can't Find Your Camera Error 0xA00F4244 NoCameraAreAttached". My laptop does not have any switch to ON/OFF the camera.
I did all the required steps,
1. I updated BIOS
2. I reset my PC
3. Reset my OS
4. There is no camera driver available for my device to update it. There is no camera option available in device manager.
I did everything I could but did not find the solution. It's been 1 year since I have been using this laptop. The camera worked properly all these days, but suddenly it stopped working.
Please if someone knows anything to do, please help me out with it.
Thank you.

Hi @Anudeep19,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already tried several troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue with your laptop's camera. Since you've exhausted those options without success, here are a few additional steps you could try.
- Check hardware connections: Ensure that the camera module is properly connected to the motherboard inside your laptop. Sometimes, loose connections can cause issues with hardware components.
- Run hardware diagnostics: Many laptops come with built-in diagnostics tools that can help identify hardware issues. Check if your laptop has a diagnostic tool and run it to see if it detects any problems with the camera hardware.
- Consider external options: If all else fails, you might consider using an external webcam as a workaround. While not ideal, it could provide a temporary solution until the issue with your laptop's built-in camera is resolved.
- Software conflicts: Sometimes, conflicts with other software or drivers can cause issues with hardware components. Try booting your laptop in Safe Mode to see if the camera works there. If it does, it could indicate a software conflict, and you can try uninstalling recently installed software or drivers to see if that resolves the issue.
If none of these steps help, it's possible that there's a hardware fault with the camera module itself, in which case it may need to be replaced.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
