Pavilion 7265NGW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to install Crucial P1 NVMe PCIe 2280 M,2 SSD in Pavilion 15-cc563st (7265NGW). No problems installing hardware but the system does not recognize any new device on boot or anything when going to windows 10 disk management. I have upgraded all appropriate drivers which may have been a mistake. I have seen posts that indicate it may be necessary to revert to an earlier version of BIOS and disable the Intel SSD. I would find it hard to believe that there is a M,2 NVMe connector on the motherboard and it is unuseable. If anyone out there has any ideas or if you know what I am trying to do for some reason is not possible please let me know.

No, it won't support NVMe M.2 SSD. Please use M.2 SATA such as Crucial MX500 M.2 SSD's

That was my assumption, I already boxed the device up for return to replace with a SATA. Thanks for your reply.
