Microsoft Windows 11

my bracket keys work on my hp laptop, all my keys work. I'm doing this online code camp and i need to use the angle brackets for this exercise I'm doing. the problem I'm having is i can't get the angle brackets to show up on the screen when i try to type it in. i can get the back slash. (the back slash, angle bracket and curly bracket are all on one key) I've tried holding down shift or alt but it's not working. how can i fix this. thank you.

You keyboard does not match what the application needs.

Bring up the On Screen Keyboard.   if it is still the wrong keyboard then change it
