Hello. I love my laptop HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15, but two USB ports stopped working since some time one by one. Both ports are located on the right side of the laptop near power adapter hole and soundcard. My mouse stopped working first and then i switched to second usb port. After some time the second port stopped working too. Now i am using the third port on the left side of the laptop. The problem with both ports is unclear, because it looks like mechanical inside, because when i plug in a mouse it flashes with red laser color, but it doesn't work. One port which is closer to power adapter cable is completely silent (but mouse is still flashing), the second port which is near says "USB device is not recognized" when i plug in my mouse and it also flashes with a red light in a mouse. p.s. i tried to delete the usb drivers but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

I found the problem and fixed it. As i thought before it was mechanical. I opened my laptop, swiched off the battery port socket (without screwing off the battery itself) and checked the connector between usb ports and motherboard. I tried to pull the usb ports connector back inside in its place a bit more tightly, but with not much pressure. Then i switched the battery on again in its place and put a laptop cover back. After i started laptop, i noticed that USB ports and headphones work well again. Thank you for trying to help me.
