Hi all, I have a Envy x360 model 15-aq273cl. does the TYPE C port support "DisplayPort Alternate Mode" ? I am wanting to buy a dual monitor HDMI extender so I can use the external monitors extended and not use the laptop display

It has  1 USB 3.0 (Type-C™); 2 USB 3.0 (1 HP USB Boost); 1 HDMI; 1 headphone/microphone combo

 

Looks like the Type C port does not support Alt mode at all. You need a full USB 3.1 specs type C port.

Do you or anyone have any suggestions on how I can connect two monitors to this  laptop with extended capabilities. I am looking to accomplish that and not use the laptop monitor at the same time.
