Hi, can I upgrade RAM from 8 gb to 16 gb for my HP Laptop 14q-cs0xxx notebook. If yes, how should I do this? Thanks.

What is your HP Laptop 14q-cs0xxx machine ? For example

 

         HP Notebook - 14q-cs0017tu

 

Your machine is very close with the above machine. Depending on its existing RAM you can upgrade to

 

   16GB (max): add same 8GB to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM

                   https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfra266/ct18587244    (RAM will run at 2400MHz)
