Can I upgrade ssd m.2 nvme and add more ram to HP LAPTOP 14S-dk0001AU ?  because when i opened the laptop, it only provide one slot of ram and there is no ssd socket but it has a writing ' SSD' .. there is no way i can install ssd, but when i make a research on youtube, it does have the ssd slot.. why my laptop doesn't have?  Do i need to solder myself to install socket for ram and ssd so that i can upgrade it?

@Elly41 I've got all the information you need, and soldering is not something HP recommends you do as it would void the hardware warranty, that said, if the memory module or a certain socket is not replaceable, it's just not replaceable, if you wish to modify you may do so at your own discretion, as HP does not support the same.

 

Also: I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.
