Hi,
The notebook supports max 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM (2x8GB)
There are two slots and the notebook came with one 4GB module. You can purchase from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...
On page 76 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04409502
Example of RAM:
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-r033tx#MEMORYFilters
You can replace the hard drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar of your desired capacity. On page 59 of the service manual, you can see the steps to replace the drive.
Example:
You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD either by using recovery disk, migrating an image or performing a clean install.

Hope it helps,

Thanks for the help. Would u like to suggest me video or any tutorial for opening the backside of the laptop and replacing the ram and ssd? Will it be secure for opening itself or should I take help of any technical person(service center)?
