Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Helloes,

So, got a new pc for gaming, a classic prebuild, installed all my programs etc, one of them being Windows mixed reality headset (VR). When i tried to start it, i got an error code that reffers re driver issue (vr requires a 3.0 or better), but all my usb ports were being treated as a 2.0 by the headset.

So, i went to hp page for this pc (by product #) downloaded all the updates, installed them and bricked my bios. Nevermind that, i just had an authorised service provider fix it, but i dont dare updating that myself by now

So, all in all, im looking for some dedicated 3.1 usb drivers, if that is a thing. I'd appreciate even the info that there is no such thing, so that i dont have to keep searching

Thanks in advance

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer.

I will be delighted to assist you here.

Usually the usb ports are just plug and play, in this case, I suspect this could be an issue with the windows reality headset's driver software.

Check with the manufacturer for any driver update's.

Hope this helps. 🙂
