HP Pavilion Laptop - 15z-eh000 touch optional
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this laptop (15z-eh000 with Ryzen 7 4700u) for a few months now and am curious if I can charge via the usb-c port on the left-hand side.

According to the product page, this port is classified as such: "1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HDMI 2.0, HP Sleep and Charge)(with AMD Ryzen™ 3/5/7 processor)". It does state that power delivery is supported, but I don't know if that is in regard to charging other devices from the laptop or charging the laptop itself. I couldn't find too much discussion regarding this except that people with similar models were also confused.

It'd be cool to charge my laptop with a usb-c power bank or something.

Thanks in advance.

Given it had 1 USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HDMI 2.0, HP Sleep and Charge) port. You can charge your machine using a compatible USB-C charger with 65W output.

You may be able to use USB-C Gen 5 dock to get single cable option.

Regards.

Thanks.

I tried charging with a much lower wattage and the laptop did not detect any charge, does that mean it can't be anything less than 65W? For reference, the normal barrel jack ada
