HP ENVY x360 - 17-aq100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to use dual monitors off of this laptop. I already have the original HDMI port in use and I want to know if i'm able to use a USB-C to HDMI adapter for another monitor. I have an HP 2.0 adaper already, but when I plug it in, I get the warning "Display connection may be limited" and nothing shows up on the monitor. The monitor is an HP 27er display and i'm using the original HDMI to HDMI cable to go from the USB-C adapter to the monitor. Are there any drivers I could to install to get this to work?

@n_pitt,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that the type C port on your computer doesn’t support the display.

Please refer to the below link for the product specifications for your computer.
