Hello,

I bought a USB C hub as I have to carry my laptop several times and I was trying to avoid pluging in and out all the wires every time... as I´ve got connected HDMI, network, Monitor USB and an external HDD... so for my work have a HUB is a must.

I currently bought 3 differents HUBs wiich ones were different brands each other so I´ve tryed all of them.

So the issue is: when I took a hub and plug it in everything works right and smooth, BUT after 2 days the HUB stop working and it´s impossible to wake up it... So I returned each of them. And looked for a different kind of display connections as I ´ve read that I need ALTERNATE MODE for an external display like I own.

With the currently one that I own I´ve tried to update every single driver from nothing and it worked again BUT just for 2 days, after those days is dead. I´ve already tried to remove all drivers, install them again, and doesn´t seems to be connected.

What´s the problem? how could I get it working again????

Many thanks in advance.

So far for who may need help with this HP issue... I´ve solved it with an extended search by google.

To come the USB C hub back alive again just hold 5 secs the power button when the laptop is switched off and it will reset everything and magically will work again...

HP when are you going to fix this????????
