Hi, i recently upgrade my notebook from HP EliteBook 840 G5 to HP EliteBook x360 830 G9. After the upgrade, when i connect my Samsung Phone to the new laptop using an 100W UGREEN USBC cable, it only charge the phone but does not show my phone content (the phone only detect as power charging).
Additional info:
- I connect the original Samsung USB C cable to the new EliteBook x360 and it work for data transfer
- The same UGREEN 100W cable was used on the same phone on my old EliteBook 840 and it is able to detect the phone content for data transfer (So it should not be the cable or phone issue)
- I connect the same UGREEN 100W USB C cable between the HP THUNDERBOLT G2 230W Docking Station and my Phone (Phone <-> UGREEN USB C Cable <-> HP G2 Docking Station <-> EliteBook x360), and the EliteBook is able to display the Phone content
The reason i use the UGREEN USB C Cable is because i want to have 1 common cable for both Charging the Laptop and transferring file from my phone to the laptop during travel.
I suspect that there might be some driver needed for the UGREEN high Power cable needed. Can someone help on this?
