Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi there, i bought a 15s-fq2049tu laptop last week and i have just been told i can charge this device via a mobile phone style car charger (USB-C).
is this possible ??
i camp off grid a lot, but have solar and 2 batteries in my caravan.

The specs of your machine is

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support power delivery nor Alt mode therefore you can't

  • use it to charge your machine ,
  • connect to an external monitor with/without a hub/adapter/dock.

hi Banhien thanks for the responce..
well thats a bit disappointing, and i can only assume that the "Other" style of USB-C is different in its hardware not its software??
