I plan to use type-C charger for my HP 13th Gen 14-EP0044TU / 14-EP0045TU using USB-C charger. Is this possible?

No, NOT possible. The specs of your machine is

It ONLY has a hopeless ONE USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
