Product: HP Pavilion x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ek1000 (742J1AV)

Hello. I recently bought the HP Pavilion x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-ek1375ng laptop. I want to use USB-C port for charging this laptop. I tried with my samsung charger but it did not work. Can you please tell me which charger will work for this laptop and if I need to activate USB-C port for charging in settings. Also, will it work if I use my original charger with DC to USB-C adapter to charge via USB-C port? Thanks a lot in advance.

Your laptop is delivered with a barrel type power adapter that supplies either 45 or 65 Watts.

 

Your little Samsung power adapter can provide nowhere near that.

That just sounds like a really bad idea.
