I want to know if my laptop supports charging via the USB Type-C port. According to product specifications, "Connects an AC adapter that has a USB Type-C connector, supplying power to the computer and, if needed, charging the computer battery."
I bougth an Ugreen 65W USB-C charger, but when connected to the USB Type-C on my HP, alternates charge (on and off).

Your laptop has a USB Gen 2 Type-C with Sleep & Charge , but It does not have a Thunderbolt port with the same characteristics.
There is a likelihood that the UGREEN power adapter does not actually supply the 65 Watts that it is marketed as being able to supply or that the laptop does not have a Thunderbolt port that is preventing it from charging properly.
I suggest trying a more mainstream brand of power adapter.

I always purchase the OEM power adapter listed in the manual.
Belkin and Targus would be two good choices for non OEM power adapter that I would use.
