Hi!
I recently ordered (a week ago) a USB-C HUb for my laptop because I wanted to hace a 2 monitor setup. I tried it, and it worked! I tried it intermitently for a couple of days. Yesterday, I used it all day, LITERALLY all day. Today, I wake up, turn on my laptop, and the Hub isn't working. So, I try with a SanDisk Usb-C drive I have, and it is not working either. I look online and find a solution, turn the computer off, and press the power button for 30 seconds. It works, but only for like 10 minutes, and then I have to do it again. I have also disabled the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and nothing, still the same....
Any solutions? It was working fine the previos days, I don't know what happened, and it seems the USB-C Hub is not the problem.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly, let's perform Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
BIOS default:
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Note: please disconnect all the devices from the laptop before performing steps.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hi!
First of all, thanks for your help! Sorry for the late update. I have been trying this solution for some days now and It works! I wanted to make sure it worked before updating this post.
Unfortunately, the other problem I encountered was that when I started a game, any game, the USB-C automatically got disabled, and I had to do the Hard Reset and Bios Default all over again. I started to think it may be a Hardware problem as well, as the solution you gave me worked fine for everything else.
I thought it may be that the processor was using too much power that it automatically disabled the USB-C, so I went to my power plan and reduced the Maximum Processor State to 99% in case that was the problem. It now has been working fine these last 2 days, but I'm still gonna try it for some more days, just in case, and update this post again.
