What is your OMEN by HP Laptop 17-cb0xxx ? The series has 2 sets of port configuration. We need to know what is your machine ? Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

It has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C™ with Thunderbolt™ 3 (40 Gb/s signaling rate, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port. It should charge other devices such as phones, tablets ... Do you use the right cable ?
