HP Spectre X360 aw0121tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since updating to F.28-03/04/2021 I am unable to charge my computer from my Thunderbolt monitor.

Previously one thunderbolt connection to my monitor (with built in USB hub) would provide connection to peripherals, display and would also charge my computer. The monitor provides power deliver, and still performs this on other systems (shared desk).

The USB ports are free from debris and the system (and cables are in an excellent state of repair.

I attempted to recalibrate the battery, however this process completed with the tool in the UEFI (also recently updated to the latest version) however after completing this calibration the battery still shows as "Calibration reqired"

Is this a known bug in this version of the BIOS/UEFI update? When could we expect a fix?

Can we see the advanced results of the battery test? Persistent calls for calibration indicate a problem with the battery. So to be clear, the laptop receives power from the USB-C port just will not charge the battery?

So to clarify, the laptop charges from the HP USB C travel charger 65w which came with the laptop but when I plug it into my thunderbolt monitor (Samsung CJ791) windows reports that it is "plugged in" but not charging.

My most recent battery calibration gave a result as component test passed - primary calibration required (20) charge state unknown.

Here is the full result from the battery test when the thunderbolt connection to my monitor is connected.

one other thing i would add is that the laptop will not charge with both the charger and the monitor plugged in.
