hp zbook studio g10 5f940es
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a hp zbook studio g10 5f940es and would like to charge it via USB-C.

It charges well with the power cord, but not using my old HP docking station.

I've tried a 65W USB-C power adapter (20V 3,25A) but it did not charge.

I can't find any specs to clarify which adapter is needed or if my USB-C ports are not working correctly.

Other things (mouse, keyboard, screen, network) work fine using the USB-C ports.

--> What specifica have to be met by a USB-C power adapter  to be able to charge the hp zbook studio g10 5f940es?

@SebastianDietri

Its specs:    https://www.hp.com/au-en/shop/hp-zbook-studio-16-inch-g10-mobile-workstation-pc-8g0h0pa.html

It requires normal 200W charger therefore 65W USB-C charger does not have enough juice to charge your machine. Please use same wattage rating USB-C chargers.

Hope this makes sense

Regards.

AFAIK there exists no 200W USB-C chargers. The strongest I've found were for 120W (19,5V 6,15A)
