My PC has not been sensing any external device plugged into the USB Ports. My External Mouse is not working when plugged in but they are working on other PC.
When i check in Device Manager, i noticed that the USB Controller has yellow marks on them.
These are the two drivers listed there and are both showing yellow triangles with exclamation marks:
Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1E26 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E26&SUBSYS_1854103C&REV_04\3&11583659&0&E8
Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1E2D PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E2D&SUBSYS_1854103C&REV_04\3&11583659&0&D0
A Screenshot of the Device Manager is shown below:
My Model is HP 2000
My Operating System is Windows 10 (64 Bit)
Please help is needed urgently. Thanks.

I have finally been able to solve the issue.
I had to do a system restore to a restore point i created before my last Windows Update and everything went back to normal. There must be something in the Windows update that damaged the USB Controller drivers or rendered it unsupported by the Chipset.
Though i lost some programs i installed after the restore point was created but i will take that as long as my USB ports are back working.
Thanks for the suggestion raised, i appreciate it.

You did not check before the upgrade. Please try the following solution from Intel:

I went through the Intel Support thread you shared, but i could not get a solution from there.
All i saw was an Intel rep explaining why Intel will not develop a driver that supports Windows 10 for the Chipset.
Please the issue still persists, I still need help as i am stucked from doing so many things.
Thanks
