Hi… My HP Envy (Windows 10 OS) will charge my phone and read my USB insert for my wireless mouse, but it will not read USB drives. They do not pop up automatically when inserted, and they do not show under Devices/Drives. The media icon does show up under the hidden icons when the USB drive is inserted, but no option given to open the drive. When I went to the Device Manager and clicked on the USB controllers, the USB storage device shows us. When I right clicked, I updated my Driver then I got this message: “Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed.” Under Device Status, it shows “This device is working properly.” – I’ve tried many things to try to fix it, but I don’t know what else to do. Can anyone help me out and give me some advice? TIA!

Open File Manager from the task bar and look down under Devices and Drives to see if the USB stick is listed.
