Hi,
I have reloaded Windows 7 after replacing a cooked hard drive on to my Pavillion DV6 notebook, but the USB and HDMI ports no longer work. When in device manager the Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controllers under Universal Serial Bus Controllers have messages saying Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware(Code 37). I have tried downloading the drivers but this failed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling them, but get the same message. If I try to update the driver software, it says that the best drivers are already installed. Running a system check found no errors or device failures. I am out of ideas, can anyone please help. Thanks
