It just quickly makes the "disconnecting and connecting" noise and whatever I have plugged in there ends up disconnecting. I tried different usb powered/used products and they all end up disconnecting. I just got this laptop about a month ago. I uninstalled & installed the usb ports and restart computer and still doing the same thing. I only have 2 usb ports so kind of need it fixed asap. The usb ports have the SS symbol and not sure if the products I'm using is affecting it, but dont think so.

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps that should fix the issue of USB Port disconnecting frequently.
- Update the HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)
- Windows Update.
