If you click on the BIOS link and see a + next to it, there is another menu.Remember that you need knowledge to avoid damaging your laptop when downgrading the BIOS. I am not responsible for any damage it may cause.

I had the same issue on mine and several others in the wild. I had to enter Bios>Bios Settings>Advanced>Port Settings I believe and check the "Enable USB Type C" box. Save and exit.
