I have HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 connected to ZBook Fury 16 G11 Mobile Workstation PC connected
USB devices connected to Dock:
- are not recognized by OS (Windows 11)
or
- stop working after few seconds in use.
Notes:
- same devices work fine while plugged into laptops USB ports
- same USB devices do get power when plugged to Dock port, but don't work properly

There are four different HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 products.
Which one is yours?
I do notice that the most recent HP Thunderbolt dock G4 firmware versions are for Windows 10, not Windows 11.
There are at least 8 firmware update packages. Have you installed the relevant one that might serve your needs?
Do you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 installed ion your Windows 11 OS?

Hi @Erico, thanks for the reply
I don't know what kind of HP Thunderbolt Dock G4 products are there, but my has 280W. I can't see any more details about it:
Do I need to upgrade this firmware version? If so, how do I do it?
I haven't explicitly installed .NET Framework 4.5, but I see that I have .NET 4.8.09032 installed. DO I need to install .NET 4.5 anyway? Would that help?
