Hi,

I have problem with my two 3.1 gen 1 USB ports.

Laptop is way out of warranty but if anyone has any clue what is going on i will appreciate any help.

Usb sticks aren't being recognized and when i connect phone to it, phone starts charging but there is no data connection established. What is strange is that my external HDD (USB 3.0) works just fine. Wireless mice also don't work. Problem may or not be related to one of many BIOS updates i applied to it. Right now it's on latest available version F.45. Problem is not related to OS since i tried both Windows and Linux on it.

HP diagnostics tool gives this error on one of USB ports: PLQ730-9QTBN0-XD7XHG-8D0V03
