New Apple watch series 7 will not charge when plugged into USB c port. Watch comes with a fast charge cable that plugs into a USB-C port. I have a USB -c port on my HP Envy x360 computer. However, the port does not provide any power. When I plug the cable into two other HP Envy PC's the cable works as advertised so I believe the problem is my computer.

The port is designed to provide power. I suggest you run a diagnostic test on it in the UEF environment to rule out a hardware issue

You will need to connect a USB-C device to the port during testing to see if the test passes. If it does, the problem is software (Windows)
If we determine Windows is the problem you want to try a reset of the usb ports:

Have you tried any other USB-C devices? I know Apple laptop USB-C ports are all Thunderbolt. Don't know much about the Apple watch but it may be a Thunderbolt device that requires a Thunderbolt port to charge. Seems odd, however I would have thought you could charge it from any kind of usb port.
