my laptop went crazy so I did a restore point.  after the restore my USB ports don't work anymore.  I checked the tell me if something is wrong with my USB in some settings and it doesn't tell me jack.  I've connected multiple devices and none work on here but work on another.  I was trying to print so I ran the printer check thing and it could not detect my printer.  Printer worked on another laptop.  I tried downloading that update from 03/05/18 only to have my laptop tell me it didn't apply.  [edit] .  Tried to talk to a human so it asked me for my product and serial number.  copied and pasted directly, stupid thing tells me I have a tower but i'm looking right at my laptop.  Great going hp.
