I would LOVE to use either of my USB ports again, my computer does not recognize the USB hardware. Under the Events for the device: Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft), I get the error message stating the "device has not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match". From what I could find scouring the internet, is that the issue lies between (Intel, Microsoft and you), a driver (Windows Update) from earlier this year deleted and replaced the compatible driver, replacing it with the latest one, but the device was designed for Windows 7 and not windows 10, so windows 10 does not recognize the hardware. PLEASE HELP!!! I cannot connect any devices via USB to the computer, absolutely no PnP.
Also, SMART Check and Audio Playback Tests Failed under HP's system tests, don't know if that's related.
