My HP G5 Docking station has been working great with my HP Envy laptop until yesterday.  All of the sudden, the docking station still works, but it's not charging the laptop anymore.  I unplugged docking station and tried to plug in the USBC power cord, but still doesn't work.  The docking station does work on another computer USBC so it's not the docking station.  And the docking station still works, but not charging.  So, then I plugged the HP power cord to the dedicated power port (small round hole) and it works as long as the docking station isn't plugged in.  Once I plug the docking station in, the HP dedicated power port turns off.  So, I can only use the docking station until battery runs down, then need to unplug docking station and charge with HP power port until it gets charged again and then plug the docking station back in.  So, I'm trying to figure out how to disable the USBC power feature so the HP dedicated power port can charge the laptop while the docking station only does accessories and not power the laptop.  Any ideas or help?

Have you tried upgrading the firmware of the G5 Dock to the latest version?

Yes, all firmware has been updated on both the HP Docking Station G5 and the HP Envy x360 15.6" 2-in-1 12th Gen I7
Trying to figure out how to disable the USBC from charging so I can use it as an accessory for docking station and then use the HP power port to power the computer
