Hp Laptop 14 cf1xxx
Microsoft Windows 11

I have HP Laptop 14-cf1xxx and trying to install ubuntu by making it dual boot. Before installing ubuntu, I have windows 11 on it. When I have started installing ubuntu,it shows you have intel rst enabled in your laptop so make it disable. By searching here and there I didn't find any option in bios as sata to disable it or in device manager also. Can anyone help me how to disable Intel RST so I can install ubuntu.

Just so you know, some laptop are not candidates for the installation of Linux because there are not any drivers for some of the critical onboard devices available.

People who are aware of that search online for good candidates for Linux installation.

That is why I purchased an older Dell that was known to be perfect for Linux that I use as my Linux box.
