Unable to find replacement Charging port for HP Pavilion Laptop model - 15-cs0057od 

Please help, I bought multiple on Amazon that have the 2 wings on the end that slides in internally.. But the one I took out has only one wing so the ones I'm purchasing are incorrect. I used the model # and HP laptop to find them and still we're incorrect. Where can I find the correct replacement part of my machines charging port???

HP PartSurfer

The charger part number and description is:

741727-001

Smart AC power adapter (45 watt) - 4.5mm barrel connector, non-power factor correcting (NPFC) - Requires 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector

The power cord that goes from the wall socket to the charger is sold separately.

L19367-001

Power cord - C5 connector, 1.0m long, STK Conv (North America)

What I recommend you do is to go on eBay, search by the HP charger part number and find a used but tested and working genuine HP charger.

Those usually come with the power cord as well.

I am talking about the internal charging port. Not the charging cable.

I guess I better go back to school for remedial reading.

Chapter 3 of the service manual has the charging port part number and description.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC

Power connector cable:   810327-006.

Power connector cable EMI tape is available in the Miscellaneous Parts Kit using spare part number L28015-001.

I don't know what the EMI tape is for, or where to buy it.

When you google the first part number, you get this:  Is that the part you need?
